Abstract

The coal water slurry additive is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 1 part of acrylic acid, 3.5 to 4 parts of polyethylene glycol acetate, 5 parts of a dispersing agent, 0.5 part of ammonium persulfate and 0.5 part of carbonate. The preparation method comprises the following steps: heating a mixture of the acrylic acid, polyethylene glycol, para-diphenol and concentrated sulfuric acid, andkeeping constant temperature, thus obtaining the polyethylene glycol acetate; then heating the acrylic acid, the obtained polyethylene glycol acetate, sodium styryl sulfonate, the ammonium persulfateand the carbonate, and keeping the constant temperature; cooling, and regulating a pH (Potential of Hydrogen) value, thus obtaining the coal water slurry additive. The coal water slurry additive disclosed by the invention is less in dosage and good in dispersity, and coal water slurry which is high in concentration, good in fluidity and suitable for atomization can be prepared.
