Problems solved by technology

In terms of using alcohol or alcohol-containing liquid as a reducing agent to activate copper-based catalysts, patent CN1335201 discloses a reduction method for copper-containing catalysts, using C1~C12 primary or secondary alcohols as reducing agents to dehydrogenate or add The hydrogen catalyst is activated by raising the temperature in the reactor. Since only alcohol is used as the reducing agent in the reduction process, the decomposition of alcohol will be involved in the whole process of catalyst reduction, and the decomposition process of alcohol on the surface of the catalyst produces very complex gas groups. It has an important influence on the reduction process of the catalyst, which is not conducive to the control of the reduction process
Patent CN1850332A discloses a reduction method of copper-based catalyst for hydrogen production by steam reforming of methanol. The dehydration stage of the catalyst is purged with air, and then the gas phase mixture of hydrogen and water is used to initiate the reduction of the catalyst. Finally, 0.1~5% The conversion rate of the catalyst after activation is over 99%, but there are some shortcomings. Quantitative gas purging is used in the reduction proce

Embodiment 1

[0022] The activation and reaction pressure of this embodiment is normal pressure.

[0023] Add 50g of reforming catalyst in the fixed bed reactor, the weight percentage of copper oxide in the catalyst is 55%, then the feed preheater and the reactor are heated up, wherein the reactor bed is heated from normal temperature to 230°C for 60min, and the temperature is kept constant. The feed preheater is heated up to 170°C synchronously, and then the catalyst is activated by feeding methanol aqueous solution. The molar ratio of methanol to water is 1, and the hourly space velocity of the methanol aqueous solution is 0.02h. -1 At the same time, the gas composition at the outlet of the gas-liquid separator is analyzed, and the analysis and sampling are performed once every 1 hour. After the hydrogen content in the gas remains stable, the methanol solution feed is turned off. The entire activation process takes 14 hours. Adjust the temperature of the reactor to 280°C and the temperatu...

Abstract

The invention relates to a methanol steam reforming hydrogen production copper-based catalyst activation method. The method includes steps: heating a catalyst bed layer from the normal temperature toan activation temperature, keeping the temperature constant, subjecting activator methanol aqueous solution to preheating vaporization in a preheater, feeding into the catalyst bed layer, carrying outcatalyst activation reaction, cooling outlet tail gas of a reactor bed layer in an activation process through a condenser, performing gas-liquid separation, analyzing separated gas phase composition, and stopping feeding of the methanol aqueous solution after activation is finished when the gas phase composition is stable. The activation process is simple and easy to control, high in reduction efficiency, low in activation cost and can be widely applied to activation of methanol steam reforming hydrogen production copper-based catalysts in methanol fuel cell systems.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of fuel cell mobile hydrogen production, in particular to an activation method for a copper-based catalyst used for hydrogen production by steam reforming of methanol in a methanol fuel cell system. Background technique [0002] As a new type of power generation, hydrogen fuel cells have the characteristics of high efficiency and zero pollution emissions. They will play an increasingly important role in the energy field and are an important way to achieve low-carbon and clean energy. There are two main sources of hydrogen fuel for vehicle fuel cells, one is direct use of hydrogen, and the other is vehicle-mounted mobile hydrogen production technology. At present, the vehicle-mounted mobile hydrogen production technology mainly uses alcohols, ethers, gasoline and other substances as raw materials, and uses catalytic reforming technology to produce hydrogen. Among them, methanol in alcohol raw materials has hi...
