Abstract

The invention discloses an IPDI (isophorone diisocyanate) trimer-type waterborne polyurethane adhesive and a preparation method thereof. According to the preparation method, with an IPDI trimer as a monomer, a prepolymerization reaction is preformd to increase the crosslinking degree of a product, so that the product performance is improved; meanwhile, with dimethylolpropionic acid and diaminosulphonate as a joint hydrophilic chain extender, the using amount of dimethylol is reduced along with introduction of the diaminosulphonate, so that the time of reverse rotation is advanced and the solidcontent of a finally prepared IPDI trimer-type waterborne polyurethane emulsion is increased; when the IPDI trimer-type waterborne polyurethane adhesive is used as the adhesive, moisture therein is not required to be removed, so that the utilization efficiency thereof is improved. The waterborne polyurethane adhesive obtained through coordination of the IPDI trimer-type waterborne polyurethane emulsion and other additives has excellent peeling strength and tensile strength, the tensile strength thereof is as high as 64.9MPa, the water absorption rate is as low as 2.8%, and the peeling strength is as high as 231N / 2.5cm.
