Abstract

The invention relates to a method for rapidly measuring contents of major elements aluminum oxide, silicon dioxide and chromium oxide in chromium-containing high alumina refractory materials via an ICP-AES. According to the method, sodium hydroxide solution, hydrochloric acid and nitric acid are adopted as a digestion system to undergo microwave digestion, the digestion solution is diluted, and aninductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AEC) is utilized to measure the contents of major elements aluminum oxide, silicon dioxide and chromium oxide in a chromium-containing high alumina refractory material. The method is rapid in sample treatment and high in dissolution efficiency; an instrument is adopted to detect the high-content (as high as 95%) major elements and the traditional chemical analysis method is completely replaced so that the results are stable and reliable; the detection cost is relatively low; and the used reagent is safe and environment-friendly, themanual operation is replaced by reasonably using instrument analysis, so that the working efficiency is improved and high popularization and application values are provided.
