The invention provides a system and a method for preparing sodium sulfite by recycling active coke desulfurization rich gas, wherein the system comprises: a pretreatment system for purifying, coolingand gas-solid separation of regenerated gas; a reaction recovery system which comprises a reaction unit and a recovery unit, wherein the reaction unit of the reaction recovery system is connected withthe gas outlet of the pretreatment system and used for reaction synthesis and recovery of sodium sulfite; an evaporation and concentration system, which is used for circularly evaporating and concentrating the sodium sulfite slurry generated by the reaction unit, wherein the evaporated and concentrated sodium sulfite slurry enters from an inlet of the recovery unit for recovery treatment; and a tail gas treatment system which is used for absorbing sulfur dioxide and dust in the tail gas. The method comprises the following steps: regenerated gas pretreatment; synthesis, evaporative concentration, and recovery of a product; and tail gas treatment. The system disclosed by the invention is low in energy consumption, high in purity, suitable for continuous production requirements, good in absorption and purification effect, low in water consumption, low in SO2 loss rate and high in system independence.
