A biofeedback device and the light sensor used thereby are described herein that can be mounted on or integrated with eyewear such as swimming goggles. The biofeedback device may include a heart rate measurement apparatus comprising a reflected green light sensor, and first, second, and third green light emission elements. The biofeedback device may include a housing having a first portion and a second portion, which each of the first and second portions having a first side and a second side. At least a portion of the heart rate measurement apparatus may be disposed within the housing first portion and may be exposed through an opening in the second side of the housing first portion. The biofeedback device may also include an opening that allows the device to be removably engageable with at least a portion of the swimming goggles.

A glove dispenser has a housing having first and second opposed walls. A glove roll is disposed within the housing for carrying a roll of removable gloves. An electro-mechanical feed mechanism rotates the roll. One or more proximity sensors are positioned within the housing to detect a user's hand and activate rotation of the glove roll. Activators are located on the housing first and second wall which activate the roll to rotate to dispense a glove from the roll. A take-up roll can be provided for receiving roll material after the gloves are dispensed.

A device and method are provided for clearing obstructions in a body cavity opening behind which a volume of fluid has been accumulated comprising a housing having a longitudinal internal conduit having an end interconnected to a suction source and a motor mechanically interconnected to a second end attachment portion and adapted to impart vibratory movement thereto. Actuation of the motor imparts vibratory movement to the second end attachment portion, and thereby to an attached tip and, when a housing first attachment portion is interconnected to a suction source, suction and vibration are simultaneously applied to the tip second end. Thus, when the tip second end is applied against an obstructed body cavity opening, the vibration acts to break up the obstruction and the suction contemporaneously acts to withdraw the accumulated fluid from the body cavity.

The personal audio device generally comprises a housing having a first portion and a second portion and a transducer disposed in the housing and having a first and second opposing sides. A rear volume is defined between the housing second portion and the transducer second side, and a front volume is defined between the housing first portion and the user's ear. The housing has a front acoustic port acoustically connecting the front volume to ambient air and a rear acoustic port acoustically connecting an otherwise sealed rear volume to ambient air. The front and rear acoustic ports may be configured so that their extent is small, e.g., less than 20 or more preferably 10 times the square root of their total acoustic radiating area. The front and rear acoustic ports may be configured so that their acoustic centers are separated by a small distance, e.g., less than four or more preferably two times the effective diameter of the transducer.

An ear cleaning apparatus for removing ear wax from an ear canal has a housing having an ear insertion tip shaped to fit into a person's ear. The housing has first and second passageways with each passageway having an opening in the insertion tip adjacent to each other. The first passageway has an air bleed thereinto. A heater is mounted in the housing first passageway for generating heat, such as with a butane burner. A fan is mounted in the second passageway for drawing air thereinto through the second passageway opening from the first passageway opening when the ear insertion tip is inserted into an ear thereby drawing heated air from the first passageway into the ear and into the second passageway.

A tracking system for use with an arrow having a shaft and arrowhead includes a housing having first and second separable portions that define an interior area. A transmitter is operatively coupled to one of the portions and positioned in the interior area when coupled together. A first anchor is configured to be coupled to the shaft and the housing first end. A second anchor is configured to be coupled to the arrowhead and the housing second end. A fastener selectively couples the first and second portions together. A switch activates automatically when the fastener is moved to couple the first and second portions together and causes the transmitter to activate. The system includes a tracking unit having a receiver, display, processor, and programming to indicate a location of the transmitter based on signal received by the receiver from the transmitter. Data received from the transmitter may include an identifier.

A lock adapted for attachment to a sash window/door without screws comprises: a shaft with a cam secured thereon is rotatably secured to a housing, with the cam disposed within a housing cavity and rotatable therefrom out of an opening, into an extended position. The housing may be a single integrally formed wall that preferably has a flat bottom surface. A first attachment leg protrudes out from the housing cavity to extend beyond the bottom surface, with a foot thereon extending beyond a first end of the housing. A positive crankcase ventilation valve assembly is provided. The positive crankcase ventilation valve assembly includes a housing having a first end and a second end and a flow path therebetween. A positive crankcase ventilation valve is provided and positioned relative to the housing first end and in fluid communication with the housing flow path. A baffle is provided and positioned in the housing and in fluid communication with the housing flow path, wherein the baffle is arranged to allow crankcase gases to flow through the baffle and into the positive crankcase ventilation valve while preventing engine oil from traveling beyond the baffle.

A folding lock assembly for use in a frame for a portable child enclosure that includes a body housing first and second hinges for connecting a pair of equal-length side frame members. The respective hinges are limited in the degree of pivotal movement permitted each between a locked position in which the frame members are linearly aligned and a folded position in which the frame members are substantially parallel. The first hinge permits angular rotation less than 90 degrees while the second hinge permits angular rotation greater than 90 degrees. The differences in the range of hinge rotation offset the distal ends of the frame when the connected members are folded to eliminate a pinch point between frame end members. A latching mechanism is provided to maintain the hinges in a locked configuration wherein one hinge is locked by the position of the second hinge. Releasing the second hinge allows the first hinge to pivot as well.

A socket is disclosed for securing frangible collar fasteners to bolts, and collecting the separated nut portions of the fasteners to avoid introducing debris into the work area. The socket comprises the socket housing having a first end formed to receive and engage the frangible nut portions, and the second end to receive and engage a ratchet. The retention member is resiliently displaceable to allow each nut portion to enter into the socket housing during fastening, and to retain a plurality of nut portions within the socket housing after the nut portions have been separated from the frangible collar fasteners. Nut ejection apparatus is provided having a first portion disposed exterior to the socket housing and a second portion disposed interior to the socket housing. The nut ejection apparatus is translatable along at least a portion of the socket length, to store a plurality of separate nut portions within the housing. The nut ejection apparatus further being manually translatable to urge the stored nut portions past the retention member and out of the socket first end.
