There is provided a therapeutic medical compression garment with an integrally knit anti-slip portion. The anti-slip portion of the garment is located in the upper area thereof. In the embodiment wherein the garment is a stocking, the anti-slip portion is placed in the thigh area of the thigh-hi stocking or the upper calf area of the knee-hi stocking. A seat, especially an airplane or vehicle seat, has a seat part placed on the stand-type seat structure (12) in relation to a base and provided with a bearing part (18) on its front side. A device for exercising leg muscles, ligaments, and tendons attendant to movement of a human knee following knee replacement surgery or during rehabilitation following knee injury is provided. The user lies supine on a flat surface and braces the back of his or her upper thigh against the device's leg support bar, so that the user's upper thigh is approximately perpendicular to the user's upper torso. The patient maintains this position and exercises the knee by extending and flexing his or her lower leg. Some embodiments include an elastic band that attaches to the device in a position that limits the degree of leg flexion to within a desired range. A young girl's modesty garment substantially covering a wearer's pelvic region and a relatively short length of the wearer's upper thighs, may include a fitted panty portion including a main panty body partially bounded by a left leg opening and a right leg opening, and a crotch portion disposed at a lower vertical edge of the main panty body and laterally centered between the left and right leg openings.
