This relates to a bicycle saddle of the type that presents two identical portions (1, 1′) longitudinally symmetrical. Thanks to its special conformation, said saddle permits the cyclist to avoid the occurrence of pathologies normally caused by the use of a racing saddle of commonly known types, eliminating the crushing of the vascular structure of the perineum, as well as the testicles of male cyclists and the clitoris of female cyclists. The special geometry permits a pedaling action without causing friction of the thigh muscles, in particular the delicate and adducent muscles.

An underwear garment for use by a male, that is, a person having a penis and a scrotum, may be characterized as including a genital pouch and a pair of side panels collectively formed in a mid-section of a front wall depending from a waistband so as to bisect said front wall. An implantable, adjustable male incontinence device. The device has an inflatable balloon affixed to a central portion of a reinforced nonextensible elastomeric strip. The balloon includes a first length of elastomeric tubing extending therefrom that provides fluid communication with the interior chamber of the balloon. The uninflated balloon is implanted to overlie the male urethra with the nonextensible strip oriented horizontally and facing away from the urethra. The lateral opposing ends of the nonextensible strip are sutured to the periosteum of respective left and right iliac bones and the inflation port is implanted beneath the skin in an accessible portion of the body, preferably in the scrotum or, less preferably, in the perineum. The inflation port, which also includes a second length of tubing in fluid communication therewith, is implanted beneath the skin and the first and second lengths of tubing are connected to one another. A fluid is injected into the inflation port and conducted to the interior chamber of the balloon causing it to inflate and force periurethral tissue against the urethra to partially constrict the urethra and reduce the pressure of urine on the external meatus. The urethral constriction can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the amount of fluid in the balloon via the inflation port.

An incontinence device for attachment to the inferior ischio-pubic rami in the anterior perineal triangle of a user. The device may include a generally semi-flexible bi-parabolic membrane configured to deflect from an engaged position in which the device exerts pressure upon the user's urethra, or a similar anatomical part. Apparatus for a perineal wash system includes a seat with a pair of pads spaced apart front to back to define a gap. The pads and frame define front and rear access areas dimensioned to allow a caregiver to access the perineal area of a seated person.
