The invention relates to the technical field of
organic synthesis, in particular to a preparation method and application of 2-[4-(dihexylamino)-2-methoxybenzoyl]
benzoic acid. Comprising the following steps: reacting N, N-dihexyl-3-methoxyaniline with
phthalic anhydride in an aprotic
solvent by taking Lewis acid as a catalyst, so as to obtain the 2-[4-(dihexylamino)-2-methoxybenzoyl]
benzoic acid. By adopting the preparation method disclosed by the invention, high-yield (more than or equal to 88.35%) and high-purity (more than or equal to 99.32%) synthesis of 2-[4-(dihexylamino)-2-methoxybenzoyl]
benzoic acid is realized; compared with an existing nucleophilic acyl substitution-
hydrolysis method, the yield is 55.62%, and the purity is 75.85%, the yield is improved by 32.73%, and the purity is improved by 23.74%; compared with an existing
transition metal catalysis-oxidation method with the yield of 64.94% and the purity of 80.85%, the yield is improved by 23.41%, and the purity is improved by 18.47%.
