A variable roller blind structure includes a roller blind made up of more than one blind bodies that are respectively attached to the underside of a rotatable roller shaft and a stable roller shaft juxtaposed at an interval and mounted at the inner side of an upper beam. The blind body has a plurality of light-passable areas alternatively arranged with a plurality of black-out areas disposed at the surface thereon, and a winding unit is mutually engaged with the rotatable roller shaft to be controlled by an operating member that is pulled either clockwise or counterclockwise to actuate the movement of the rotatable roller shaft accordingly so as to control the rolling or unrolling operation of the blind body thereby. Via the structure above, the blind bodies of the roller blind can have it both ways with partial transparency and partial sheltering effect for privacy purpose. A window curtain includes a blind body, a curtain cover, and a connecting unit provided for operatively attaching the curtain cover to the blind body. A heat setting process and apparatus is disclosed in which the bonded layers of sheer fabrics and vanes are fed between belts over hot and cool surfaces, under uniform tension and pressure. This provides for heat setting of the layers of the window covering to a uniform temperature-size relationship without inducing wrinkles or distortion into the fabric during heat setting.

A flexible curtain rollup door includes a drum mounted on a door frame and drivenly connected to an electric right angle gear motor unit. The frame includes opposed channel shaped guide tracks for receiving opposed side edges of a door curtain. The disposable privacy curtain system includes a disposable curtain packaged and sold with novel pre-attached sliding carriers affixed to the top edge thereof that are adapted for rapid, snap-in engagement with existing ceiling tracks thereby allowing for rapid removal and replacement of the curtain system. A disposable hospital curtain in accordance with the present invention comprises sheet-like material formed as a generally rectangular panel with vertical fold lines that permit the panel to be drawn between to a compact stowed configuration wherein the curtain is disposed in a pleated and/or folded configuration, and an extended deployed configuration wherein the curtain is extended. In a preferred embodiment, the disposable hospital curtain is fabricated from non-woven polypropylene treated with an antimicrobial agent and a flame retardant.

An automatic releasable top down shade system includes a header. A release mechanism is provided that is conformed to connect with the header. A shade with an upper section and a lower section is provided where the upper section of the shade is connected with both the header and the release mechanism and where the lower section is connected with the release mechanism. A lift cord supports the shade and the lift cord is also connected with the release mechanism such that the lift cord activates the release mechanism.

A controller with a wireless remote is coupled to the components of the apparatus to enable remote operation thereof. A housing with decorative frame surrounds the flat panel display and presents a display opening. The display cover may be a fabric sheet that is furled from a motor driven roller within the display opening. A robotic arm may serve as the display support, which tilts, swivels, and rotates the flat panel display to an optimum viewing position.

A safety device for a window covering comprises a head rail and a shade panel extending from the head rail. A lift cord extends along one side of the shade panel between the head rail and the bottom of the shade panel. A safety cord extends between the head rail and the bottom edge of the shade panel where the safety cord comprises a plurality of loops. The lift cord extends through the plurality of loops. The safety cord is connected to the shade panel at fixed points between the top edge and the bottom edge to limit the distance the safety cord may be moved away from the shade panel. A safety device may also comprise a safety ribbon that is attached to the shade panel by a hook and loop connector that covers the lift cord.

Protective shrouds for temporarily protecting window assemblies, bathroom fixtures, and diverse prefabricated modules used in construction. The shrouds are fabricated from translucent plastic sheet material of polypropylene or polyethylene. A lower open port is selectively blocked by a foldable ventilation panel held in a deployed state by magnets. Rear mounted adhesive strips affix the shroud to the window. Top and side strips are bifurcated to enable rapid adjustments in height and length. When the tear away strips are removed, the exposed adhesive surface is pressed upon the target structure. Slight dimensional adjustments are made by pinching the sheet together, forming creases aligned with strip bifurcations, to gather material and shorten the shroud length or width. During subsequent dry-walling, shroud edges are captivated by wall board segments.
