Problems solved by technology

[0006] The method adopts the method of mechanical grinding to prepare the colloid, which makes the process difficult to control and operate. Without the use of emulsifier, it is difficult to ensure the uniformity of the colloid, which makes the spray drying operation difficult and affects the embedding rate, and the method uses many types of raw materials. The product composition is complex

Abstract

The invention discloses a cool water dispersible lutein microcapsule. The lutein microcapsule comprises lutein powder used as core material, modified starch and natural colloid used as wall material, and appropriate amount of emulsifier added, which are mixed and added with proper amount of water, heated and stirred, and then filtered and spray dried to obtain the lutein microcapsule. The invention has easy material acquiring, can be applied to food or pharmaceutical industry, and has good safety without using organic solvents thus the nature of the lutein is well kept. In the invention, the core material and the wall material are mixed directly in one step, and emulsified by controlling the temperature; the lutein liquid is embedded into semi-permeable or hermetic solid microcapsule powder by adopting spay drying. The obtained microcapsule powder has good water-solubility, high stability and encapsulation rate.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a cold-water dispersible lutein microcapsule, and also relates to a preparation method of the microcapsule. Background technique [0002] Lutein, also known as "plant lutein", is an oxygen-containing carotenoid widely found in marigolds, bananas, kiwis and corn. Lutein can be used as a natural colorant, which has the advantages of bright color, strong coloring power, safety, non-toxicity, and rich nutrition. At the same time, this compound is an antioxidant with excellent performance, which can resist oxygen free radicals from causing cell and organ damage, and prevent cardiovascular sclerosis, coronary heart disease and tumor diseases caused by aging of the body. In addition, lutein is also the main carotenoid antioxidant component in the retina of the eye tissue, which can prevent vision deterioration and blindness caused by age-related macular degeneration. Lutein has a conjugated polyene structure, its chemical properties...
