A detection of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) shows that human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell exudates contain abundant cell factors which can promote cell proliferation and suppress cell apoptosis, such as hepatocyte growth factor (HGF), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF).
