Abstract

The invention discloses trichoderma harzianum and applications thereof in preventing and controlling a turfgrass brown patch disease. The collection number of the trichoderma harzianum JTM53 is CGMCC (China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center) No.8914. The invention further protects a fermentation broth of a JTM53 strain. The JTM53 strain has the attributes of being strong in survivability, wide in adaptability, free from environmental pollution and the like, thus having wide application prospects as a biocontrol bacterium. The indoor co-antagonism experiments show that the JTM53 strain has an excellent antibacterial effect on rhizoctonia solani. Furthermore, the JTM53 strain is used for preparing a solid fermentation matter, and then the solid fermentation matter is further used for potted plant prevention and control experiments and land controlling experiments, and the prevention and control effects on rhizoctonia solani are excellent and stable.
