Problems solved by technology

[0003] The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is: in the prior art, the preparation of isotropic coke usually needs to coke the carbonaceous precursor at a relatively high temperature (not less than 500°C) by thermally induced radical polymerization, cracking and other reactions , which makes the preparation process of the material have defects such as high energy consumption and time-consuming, which leads to certain difficulties in the popularization and use of isotropic coke.

Embodiment 1

[0021] Coal tar 800g and AlCl 3 The catalyst (the mass ratio of catalyst to coal tar is 0.05) is mixed evenly, put into a container and put into an autoclave, and then fill the autoclave with nitrogen after evacuating for 30 minutes. The nitrogen pressure is 0.5MPa, and the temperature is raised to 400°C Catalytic carbonization was carried out and kept under this condition for 4 hours. After the reaction is finished, when the temperature of the reactants in the autoclave drops to normal temperature, the autoclave is opened to obtain isotropic coke. Its polarizing microscope photo is shown in figure 1 .

Embodiment 2

[0023] Mix 500g of coal tar with AlCl 3 The catalyst (the mass ratio of catalyst to coal tar is 0.02) is mixed evenly, put into a container and put into an autoclave, and then fill the autoclave with nitrogen gas after vacuuming for 30 minutes. The nitrogen pressure is 0.1MPa, and the temperature is raised to 420°C Catalyzed carbonization, kept under this condition for 4 hours. After the reaction is finished, when the temperature of the reactants in the autoclave drops to normal temperature, the autoclave is opened to obtain isotropic coke.

Embodiment 3

[0025] Coal tar 1000g and AlCl 3 The catalyst (the mass ratio of catalyst to coal tar is 0.1) is mixed evenly, put into a container and put into an autoclave, and then fill the autoclave with nitrogen after evacuating for 30 minutes. The nitrogen pressure is 1MPa, and the temperature is raised to 380°C Catalyzed carbonization, kept under this condition for 2 hours. After the reaction is finished, when the temperature of the reactants in the autoclave drops to normal temperature, the autoclave is opened to obtain isotropic coke.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preparing isotropic coke through catalytic carbonization. The method comprises the following steps: by taking coal tar (or coal pitch) as a raw material, adding a certain ratio of lewis acid catalyst, mixing to be uniform, putting the mixture into an autoclave, and performing catalytic carbonization under a certain temperature and pressure, thereby obtaining the isotropic coke. Compared with the traditional process for coking carbon precursors at high temperature through reactions such as thermal initiated free radical polymerization and cracking, the catalytic carbonization method has the advantages that the needed heating temperature is low, and low-cost coal tar (or coal pitch) is selected. Therefore, the manufacturing cost of the isotropic coke is greatly reduced on aspects of the raw materials and the process.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to a method for preparing isotropic coke, in particular to a method for preparing isotropic coke by catalytic carbonization. Background technique [0002] Carbon graphite materials have a series of unparalleled excellent properties, such as low density, high specific strength, excellent thermal conductivity, good thermal shock resistance, self-lubrication, good thermal stability in an inert atmosphere, and strong resistance to acid and alkali chemical corrosion. Stability, etc., widely used in aerospace, nuclear industry, military and many civilian industries. With the rapid development of science and technology and industrial production, ordinary anisotropic carbon graphite materials can no longer meet the requirements of use, especially nuclear graphite, electric discharge machining, hot pressing molds, continuous casting and other applications, all require the development of fine particle structure and high density High streng...
