The invention discloses a face recognizing and tracking system based on non-contact body physiological parameter measurement. The face recognizing and tracking system comprises a web camera, an image acquisition module, a face capture module, a characteristic extraction and face registration module, a face identification module and a face tracking module. A face is detected in a collected image or one frame of video streaming and is separated from background; a face image is subjected to characteristic extraction, and extracted face characteristics are registered; whether the registered face exists within a camera shooting range or not is detected; if the registered face exists within the camera shooting range, the face is automatically tracked and stored when the registered face moves within the camera shooting range; and if the registered face does not exist within the camera shooting range, the registered face is returned and registered, a registration information database is updated. When a plurality of faces simultaneously appear in the camera shooting range, the invention can effectively carry out multi-target face distinguishing and independently registers, identifies and tracks to guarantee that the obtained face information belongs to same person and guarantee the accuracy of body physiological parameters.
