Abstract

The invention discloses a negative electrode material of a Li-ion battery and a preparation method thereof. The negative electrode material is a load-type negative electrode material, i.e. tin dioxide loaded with grapheme nanometer sheet. The negative electrode material has the advantages of higher electron and ion conductivity, large reaction area, large free expansion space, adaptability to various environments with large charge/discharge rate, and can endow the battery with high cycle performance, high specific capacity and quick charge/discharge capability; and the reversible specific capacity of the battery can be kept at a value larger than 600 mAh.g during charge/discharge with a current of 300 mAh.g.
