The heat-insulation mortar is composed of the following components: 300-500 kg of a compound cementitious material, 40-60 kg of an early strength agent, 0.5-1.0 kg of a water retaining agent, 2-3.0 kg of an adhesive, 0.01-0.06 kg of an air entraining agent and 120-180 kg of light aggregate, wherein the compound cementitious material is composed of the following components: 65-75% of dihydrate desulfurized gypsum, 20-25% of an active material, 5-15% of an exciting agent, 0.5-2.0% of an coagulation accelerator and 0.2-0.5% of a super plasticizer. The production method comprises the following steps: oven-drying or air-drying dihydrate desulfurized gypsum, and mixing with the active material, exciting agent and coagulation accelerator according to a certain ratio to obtain the compound cementitious material; and mixing the compound cementitious material with the additives including the early strength agent according to a certain ratio.
