Abstract

The invention relates to the field of rubber materials, more specifically to an ethylene-propylene-diene rubber compound and its preparation method. By the adoption of an extrusion technology, the rubber compound is made from raw materials of a main material, auxiliary materials and additives, wherein the raw material contains 25-30 wt% of ethylene-propylene-diene raw rubber; the auxiliary materials contain 36-40 wt% of a strengthening agent, 15-17 wt% of a softener, 3.1-3.4 wt% of a hygroscopic agent, 0-10 wt% of a filler; and the additives contain 0.9-1.3 wt% of a promoter, 1.7-2.5 wt% of an activator, 7-10 wt% of a functional auxiliary agent, 0.4-0.5 wt% of a vulcanizing agent and 1.3-1.6 wt% of a modifier. The material provided by the invention has excellent weathering aging resistance, high-and low-temperature resistance, ultraviolet resistance and ozone resistance.
