Abstract

The invention discloses a hot melt adhesive for a plastic pipe. The hot melt adhesive for the plastic pipe is prepared from the following components comprising, by weight, 85-90 parts of an EEA resin, 10-15 parts of SBS polystyrene-polybutadiene-polystyrene, 12-16 parts of a nitrile rubber P6300 tackifying resin, 1-2 parts of ethylidene bistearic amide, 14-16 parts of calcined clay, 0.3-0.4 parts of an antioxidant 300, 0.1-0.2 parts of an antioxidant 736, 0.1-0.2 parts of an antioxidant 626, 6-8 parts of an aluminium nitride powder and 1-2 parts of propanediol sebacate polyester. Firstly, the nitrile rubber tackifying resin is prepared, and then is mixed with other raw materials; then the mixture is extruded through an extruder, and is cooled and granulated. The hot melt adhesive by the invention is strong in caking property, and a self-made rubber tackifying resin is added in the formula to make the prepared hot melt adhesive have the advantages of strong caking property, good low temperature resistance, good weather fastness, good ageing resistance and good toughness.
