Abstract

The invention discloses a kraft paper wet strength agent and a preparation method thereof. The kraft paper wet strength agent comprises glyoxal-melamine, chloropropylene oxide, sodium dodecyl sulfate, ethyl cellulose, barium sulfate, isopropyl palmitate, octyl methoxycinnamate, p-hydroxybenzoate, dibutyl phthalate, aliphatic binary aldehyde, urea, an ammonium bicarbonate aqueous solution and polybasic acyl chloride. The preparation method comprises the following steps of stirring glyoxal-melamine, chloropropylene oxide, sodium dodecyl sulfate, ethyl cellulose and barium sulfate to obtain a uniform mixture, heating the mixture to a temperature of 60-70 DEG C, adding isopropyl palmitate, octyl methoxycinnamate, p-hydroxybenzoate, dibutyl phthalate, aliphatic binary aldehyde, urea, the ammonium bicarbonate aqueous solution and the polybasic acyl chloride into the mixture, carrying out stirring for a reaction for 1-3h and carrying out standing. The kraft paper wet strength agent greatly improves paper wet strength and dry strength.
