The invention discloses a 4-BrPA / beta-CD supramolecular
photosensitizer as well as a preparation method and application thereof, and belongs to the field of biomedical materials. According to the method, beta-
cyclodextrin is used as a subject, 4-bromophthalic anhydride is used as an object, and the water-soluble
photosensitizer is constructed through a chemically modified
supramolecular assembly strategy. The preparation method comprises the following specific steps: reacting beta-
cyclodextrin with paratoluensulfonyl
chloride to obtain mono-(6-O-paratoluensulfonyl)-beta-
cyclodextrin; then carrying out a reaction with ethidene
diamine to obtain mono-(6-ethidene
diamine-6-deoxy)-beta-cyclodextrin; then reacting with 4-bromophthalic anhydride in N, N-
dimethylformamide, and precipitating and purifying through
ethyl acetate to obtain a crude product; and finally, carrying out ultrasonic treatment,
centrifugal separation and
freeze drying to obtain a pure product. The prepared 4-BrPA / beta-CD supramolecular
photosensitizer is excellent in water
solubility, has at least 7 excitation centers in a visible light region of 400-520 nm, correspondingly generates at least 7 emission centers in a range of 500-780 nm, has a maximum
excitation wavelength of about 460 + / -10 nm and a maximum emission
wavelength of about 620 + / -10 nm, has an extremely wide visible
light response characteristic, and can be used for antibacterial
photodynamic therapy.
