The invention provides a core material in a vacuum insulation chamber/bag and a manufacturing process thereof, which belongs to the fields of vacuum insulation and isolation energy conservation. A fillable blank of the core material is prepared from main materials consisting of an inorganic meerschaum substance, an inorganic perlite substance, inorganic silica, inorganic expanded vermiculite, foamed cement and the like, a thermosetting fireproof adhesive (such as an adhesive with hydrolysis properties), a hygroscopic agent (such as inorganic powder) and a degasifer (e.g., an evapotranspiration type degasifer with zirconium as a main body and a non-evapotranspiration or compound type degasifer with barium, strontium, magnesium and calcium as main materials) through instant batching, mixing, casting, compression molding and high-energy heat-source shaping. According to the invention, the procedures of predrying and wrapping in conventional manufacturing processes for vacuum insulation boards are omitted, and the manufactured core material has the advantages of strong structural capacity, a lasting and stable vacuum degree, capacity of satisfying high requirements on energy conservation, small dimensional tolerance, simple operation, low cost, abundant resources, a wide scope of selected raw materials, light weight and a high grade of combustion performance.
