A base station communicates with mobile terminals existing within a subordinate cell, and in addition executes control to reduce interference from mobile terminals existing within adjacent cells. The base station measures the total interference power received from mobile terminals in all adjacent cells, and if the total interference power is greater than a preset value, issues a request to the base stations of all adjacent cells to reduce interference. The base station which has received the interference reduction request discriminates mobile terminals which impart interference to the base station which is the source of the interference reduction request, and reduces interference by either temporarily lowering the uplink data transmission rate or temporarily halting uplink data transmission for such mobile terminals.

Disclosed herein is a method for characterizing interference in a radio communication system including a plurality of radio transceiver stations configured to communicate with user equipments, the method including: measuring, by a user equipment in radio communication with a serving transceiver station, quantities indicative of interference from interfering transceiver stations; sending the measured quantities to the serving transceiver station; associating at least one codebook with the serving transceiver station, the codebook including a number of codewords each representing a respective quantized interference situation in an area covered by the serving transceiver station; and identifying in the codebook a codeword representative of the quantities measured by the user equipment.

The method comprises that a base station (eNB) calculates positional information of a terminal (UE) according to channel information of the UE; matching of the UE is carried out according to the positional information obtained through calcuation; according to a matching result, resource scheduling is carried out and pre-coding vectors of the UE is calculated; and carrying out data transmission according to the scheduled resources and the pre-coding vectors acquired through calculation.
