Abstract

The present invention discloses a determination method for a mixture comprising calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, ammonium sulfate and the like, wherein the total calcium content, the total nitrogen content and the total sulfur content in the mixture are determined to represent concentration of the mixture. The method comprises: (1) determining the total calcium content, wherein a sample is titrated by using EDTA to determine the total calcium content; (2) adopting a Kjeldahl azotometer to carry out distillation, and carrying out titration to determine the total nitrogen content; and (3) treating the sample, then adopting a whole spectrum direct reading plasma emission spectrometer (ICP-OES) with a pre-calibrated working curve to determine sulfur content to obtain a concentration, calculating the total sulfur content, and respectively calculating ammonium sulfate content and calcium sulfate content according to a formula.
