Abstract

The invention provides a surface treatment method for a rare earth magnesium alloy product. The method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing surface treatment liquid: in preparation equipment of the surface treatment liquid, preparing water and a rare earth sulfate into an aqueous solution; then, adding magnesium oxide into the rare earth sulfate aqueous solution; and then, adding any one or two of aluminum sulfate and zinc sulfate into the solution to prepare the surface treatment liquid; (2) carrying out surface pre-treatment on the rare earth magnesium alloy product; (3) carrying out electrochemical oxidation-chemical deposition coupling technique: in an electrochemical oxidation-chemical deposition treatment reactor, carrying out the electrochemical oxidation-chemical deposition coupling technique on the surface of the rare earth magnesium alloy product; and (4) carrying out surface post-treatment on the rare earth magnesium alloy product. A corrosion-resistant, antioxidant, flame-retardant, smooth and compact protective film is generated on the surface of the rare earth magnesium alloy product.
