Abstract

The invention discloses a graphene electrode material with bottle-shaped apertures and a preparation method thereof. The material has a three dimensional porous structure which is overlapped by graphene sheets, the apertures are in bottle shape and comprise bottle body parts and bottleneck parts, wherein the diameter of the bottle body part of the aperture is larger than the diameter of the bottleneck part of the aperture. The diameter of the bottle body part of the aperture is 10-50nm, and the diameter of the bottleneck part of the aperture is 0.5-10nm. The preparation method comprises the following steps: graphene hydrogel is prepared; a composition of graphene and an acidic component is obtained; and a reaction is carried out between graphene and the acidic component at a high temperature. The graphene electrode material with bottle-shaped apertures can effectively restrict volume expansion of electrode active materials in charging and discharging process and shuttle phenomenon of charging and discharging products, in order to substantially improve cycle performance of electrochemistry energy storage devices. The material has a higher density, and volume energy density of energy storage devices is further improved. The material is a moulded block material, and processing steps for preparing electrodes from powder graphene are avoided.
