The method comprises the steps of (1) dissolving raw materials from which metal ions can be dissolved out by acid by adopting nitric acid, and separating to obtain a clear solution, wherein the raw materials from which the metal ions can be dissolved out by the acid are selected from one or a mixture of more of metal, a metallic oxide, metal hydroxide, metal carbonate and metal subcarbonate; and (2) adding an organic reducing agent to the clear solution to form a reaction system, reacting to generate the water-insoluble hydroxide, carrying out solid-liquid separation to obtain a hydroxide solid, and washing to remove impurities in the hydroxide solid, wherein the organic reducing agent is selected from one or a mixture of more of aldehyde, phenol, alcohol and ketone organic matters.
