Problems solved by technology

[0004] Potassium chlorate is a colorless flaky crystal or white granular powder. It is a strong oxidizing agent and is used in explosives, fireworks, analytical reagents, rocket and missile propellants, etc. With the development of aerospace industry and military industry, chlorate and high chlorine exist in nature. Chlorate; chlorate and perchlorate have been found in tea, vegetables and milk powder. Another source of chlorate is chlorine-containing disinfectants, which are commonly used in tap water and equipment disinfection, such as bleaching powder and chlorine dioxide etc. Chlorine atoms have strong lethality to microorganisms, and will also react with organic matter in water to produce a variety of disinfection by-products, one of which is chlorate, whether it is perchlorate or chlorate, it will Block iodine absorption by the thyroid gland. Depending on the intake, chlorate can cause adverse health effects. Special attention should be paid to people with thyroid dysfunction, patients with iodine deficiency, pregnant women and children, especially children in early childhood. Adequate thyroid Hormones play a vital role in their growth and development. In addition, chlorate can also damage red blood cells, thereby affecting the blood's ability to transport oxygen

Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method of potassium citrate, which particularly includes the steps of: (1) dissolving citric acid in water and adding an ionic membrane liquid KOH to carry out a reaction, temperature of the reaction controlled to be 50-100 DEG C and terminal pH value being 7.5; (2) adding glucose to the reaction liquid, addition amount being 5-10 times of the weight content of potassium chlorate in the raw material, ionic membrane liquid KOH; (3) at 80-100 DEG C, performing temperature maintaining to the reaction liquid, in which the glucose is added, for more than 1 h, filtering the reaction liquid, and performing pressure reduced evaporation to concentrate and crystallize the reaction liquid; and (4) performing centrifugal separation and washing a crystal with water, and drying the crystal on a fluidized bed to prepare the potassium citrate. The preparation method can effectively remove the potassium chlorate during production of the potassium citrate. The product is more than 99.5% in content of potassium citrate, readily carbonizable substance can reach standard and light transmittance is more than 98%. The content of potassium chlorate in the potassium citrate is lower than 10 ppb.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of food additives and relates to a preparation method of potassium citrate capable of effectively removing potassium chlorate. Background technique: [0002] Potassium citrate is colorless crystal or white crystalline powder, easily soluble in water, tastes salty and cool. It can be used as buffer, mixture, stabilizer, antioxidant, emulsifier, etc. in the food industry, and can be used as an anticoagulant, hypokalemia and alkalized urine in the pharmaceutical industry. In recent years, its demand has increased has been growing steadily. [0003] The production method of potassium citrate is to dissolve citric acid in water and react with potassium hydroxide to generate potassium citrate. Among them, citric acid is produced by fermentation of powder-soluble substances (such as corn, wood summer, etc.); potassium hydroxide is obtained by ion membrane electrolysis of potassium chloride. Due to the characteristics of el...
