Abstract

The invention relates to a preparation method of enteromorpha prolifera polysaccharide PWEP-1 and an immunomodulatory activity effect of the enteromorpha prolifera polysaccharide PWEP-1. The enteromorpha prolifera polysaccharide disclosed by the invention is extracted by a water extraction and alcohol precipitation method and is separated and purified by an ion exchange column and gel column chromatography; the distribution range of the enteromorpha prolifera polysaccharide is 1000-5000Da; and the enteromorpha prolifera polysaccharide is mainly composed of 87.42% of mannose, 7.10% of rhamnose,1.67% of galacturonic acid, 2.67% of galactose and 1.13% of xylose. In-vitro experiment evaluation finds that PWEP-1 can improve the phagocytic ability of RAW264.7 and promote secretion of cell factors such as NO, TNF-alpha and IL-1 beta. PWEP-1 can serve as an immunomodulator to be added into functional food; and therefore, a theoretical basis is provided for research and development of novel enteromorpha prolifera products; and the edible and commercial value of enteromorpha prolifera is improved.
