Portable terminal device

A portable terminal device in which a case body performs sliding movement has had a problem that a groove may be exposed to the exterior when the case body is opened to a full extent of sliding amount, which will deteriorate grade of the portable terminal device and sealing ability of the case body, permitting dust or the like to enter the cases. In the portable terminal device according to the present invention in which a front side case is adapted to slide with respect to a back side case, a protruding member in a substantially T-shape in cross section is provided on the front side case, and a guide groove frame is provided on the back side case so as to enclose the protruding member, and a track along which the protruding member is adapted to move is defined in the guide groove frame. When the protruding member is positioned at both ends of the guide groove frame, the protruding member and the guide groove frame are arranged in such positional relation that an entire groove region of the guide groove frame is within an opposed range of the front side case. According to this structure, the groove will not be exposed to the exterior in either state where the case body is closed or opened by sliding, intrusion of dust or the like into the groove will be prevented, and sealing ability of the case body can be improved.

Friction reducing barrier

Disclosed herein is a device for reducing friction, caused due to contact or rubbing of the rear portion of a foot heel with the inner portion of footwear. The device is composed of a thin, smooth, and flexible material with a low coefficient of friction. The material of the device is molded into different shapes and sizes to fit different portions of a shoe of any shape and size. The device may be attached temporarily or embedded permanently to the inner heel portion of the shoes, or socks of the user. The device may also be used in any article of clothing or protective covering to reduce the effects of friction. Disclosed herein are various methods of attaching or affixing the device to the inner heel portion of the shoes, socks, and any other article of clothing or protective covering. Also, disclosed is a method to hold the device in place without using any kind of adhesive material on the device itself. The device avoids formation of blisters, calluses, and other irritations caused due to friction between any external garment or surface such as a shoe and the part of the body such surfaces come in contact with. In addition to reducing the effects of friction, this device also acts as a very tough yet comfortable physical barrier between the body and an external garment or surface such as a shoe; doing so this device protects the skin from any physical irritants, e.g. sharp edges and points in the shoe.

Flue gas dust removal and denitration integrated catalytic ceramic filter

The invention discloses a flue gas dust removal and denitration integrated catalytic ceramic filter which takes porous ceramics coated and adhered or wound with ceramic fiber composite membranes as carriers; iron, copper, cerium, manganese and titanium oxides or composite oxides are loaded in pores of the porous ceramics as denitration active components; a preparation method of the flue gas dust removal and denitration integrated catalytic ceramic filter can be realized by adopting a synchronous vacuum impregnation method, a step-by-step vacuum impregnation method, a co-precipitation method, a sol-gel method and other methods. The filter disclosed by the invention can remove dust and nitrogen oxides in high-temperature flue gas at the same time, is hypotoxic or non-toxic and wide in applicable temperature range and prevents the dust in the flue gas from blocking and abrading the active components. The best denitration efficiency can be achieved at different temperatures within the temperature range of 150-400 DEG C, so that the working temperature of denitration is greatly expanded. The flue gas dust removal and denitration integrated catalytic ceramic filter disclosed by the invention can be used for controlling the discharge of the dust and the nitrogen oxides in the processes of thermal power, steel, glass, ceramics, cement, nonferrous metals, petrochemical, chemical, waste incineration and the like.

Flexible neck toothbrush

All embodiments of the present invention relate to a toothbrush to prevent tooth abrasion and gum damage during use. A first embodiment of the invention includes a handle including an open cavity and a neck interconnected to the handle by a pivot. The neck is movable between an aligned first position and a second angled position relative to the handle. A leaf spring is bonded to the end of the neck at a first end, and the second end of the leaf spring engages the handle to provide biasing resistance. The leaf spring is configured such that if pressure to the neck exceeds a threshold limit, there is movement of the neck portion from the first position to a second position. The threshold limit is the pressure just below the pressure at the brush that may cause damage to the hard and soft tissue of the mouth. A protective sheath envelops the junction between the handle member and the neck member to prevent accumulation of unwanted material within the cavity of the handle. A second embodiment is equivalent in structure and components to the first embodiment except that it also includes a manual adjustment of the biasing force of the leaf spring to provide variable pressure and a motor for providing mechanical movement of the brush head. Third and fourth embodiments are equivalent in structure and components of the first and second embodiments, respectively, except that the leaf spring is bonded to the handle instead of the neck.
