Abstract

The method comprises the following steps of: firstly, extracting the terephthalic acid from a plastic bottle by utilizing the ester exchange theory, and secondly, introducing the terephthalic acid into a hydrothermal method to prepare the hydrotalcite by using an ion exchange method. Both the yield and the purity of the terephthalic acid which is recycled and extracted by using the method are high, a novel way is provided for treatment and application of waste plastic bottles, and the sustainable development of polyester industry is promoted.
