When contacted by a refill, the second element automatically moves from a first position associated with a first chamber length to a second position associated with a second chamber length. The mechanism may have a biasing member to releasably hold the second element in the first position. Other embodiments include a third element and a third chamber length. The present invention relates to a writing implement for drawing a straight underline. The writing implement for drawing the straight underline according to the present invention comprises: a pipe-shaped upper body part which has a space for a writing implement core for drawing a line formed on the inside thereof, which has an entrance formed on the upper surface thereof and which has a blocked lower surface; a lower body part which is stretched in the up and down direction in such a manner that the upper end of the lower body part is coupled with the lower end of the upper body part and; a main writing implement core which is installed at the lower body part so that the lower end of the main writing implement core is put on paper, thereby enabling writing; a writing implement core for drawing a line, which is inserted into the space for the writing implement core for drawing a line, which is stretched in the up and down direction, of which the lower end is in contact with the bottom of the upper body part and which has a writing tip formed in the upper end thereof to be put on paper, thereby enabling writing; a cap part which has a writing tip hole formed on the upper surface thereof, which has a pipe shape which the writing implement core for drawing a line passes through, and which is installed at the upper body part so that a portion of the cap part is inserted, through the entrance, into the upper section of the space for the writing implement core for drawing a line and the level of insertion into the space for the writing implement core for drawing a line can be controlled; and a pair of guide wheels which are rotatably coupled, in parallel to each other, to the upper outer surface of the cap part which protrudes toward the upper side of the upper body part, wherein if the cap part is inserted, at a certain depth, into the space for the writing implement core for drawing a line, the writing tip of a ball pen core for drawing a line comes out to the outside of the cap part at a certain depth and then if the guide wheels are put on paper and move in a straight line direction, the writing tip of the ball pen core for drawing a line also moves while being in contact with paper to thus enable an underline to be drawn.
