This invention discloses a SATA command acceleration system and method. The system includes a command queue, a DMA queue, a submission unit, a hardware resource management unit, and a DMA status queue, used to record the status of DMA tasks completed by the DMA engine. The firmware periodically processes commands in the command queue to configure corresponding DMA task descriptors in the DMA queue, and periodically queries the DMA status queue to determine the completion status of SATA commands. Thus, through hardware-coordinated management of the command, DMA, and status queues, the system reduces the real-time DMA transfer management task of the firmware, achieving automation and pipelined DMA transfer, thereby significantly reducing CPU load and improving data transfer efficiency and system response speed. It reduces firmware intervention in the SATA command transfer process, lowering CPU load; and through queuing and automation mechanisms, it achieves seamless DMA transfer, maximizing bus bandwidth utilization.
