The present invention relates to an injector for use in gas phase analytical systems and methods comprising a metal housing, provided with a carrier gas inlet, a split outlet, a column outlet of the injector, a sample inlet, a liner, and a heater device comprising at least one coil for radio frequency inductive heating the housing with a predetermined temperature program and for providing a predetermined spatial temperature profile in the injector. The injector according to the invention allows performing gas phase analyses, especially GC analyses with reduced discrimination. Advantages of heating with a heater device comprising a coil for inductive heating include a homogeneous heating profile of the housing including parts connected thereto, with heating rates that can be varied widely. A further advantage is that the injector can be operated as a conventional S / SL injector at a predetermined temperature, or as PTV injector or thermal desorption injector with certain predetermined temperature programs. The invention also relates to a process of making an injector according to the invention, and to a process of refitting an existing S / SL injector. The invention further concerns a gas analytical system comprising an injector according to the invention, and to a process of analysing a sample with such gas analytical system.

The invention discloses a digital signal transmitting method based on modulated carriers of equal amplitude and equal period, comprising the steps of: sampling two basic wave shapes of f0(t) of 0 representation information and f1(t) of 1 representation information within a period; respectively selecting a storage area which corresponds to f0(t) or f1(t) by a control selection switch of binary information to be transmitted within a wave shape period; converting wave shape samples in the storage area into modulated high-frequency simulating signals under the control of a synchronous clock; transmitting the modulated high-frequency simulating signals subjected to up-conversion modulation, filtering and power amplification; and demodulating the modulated signals before up-conversion on a transmitting end by adopting a demodulating method based on small phase difference or a demodulating method based on zero-crossing detection after the down-conversion of the received signals. The invention also discloses special equipment for implementing the method. A high-efficiency modulating system of equal amplitude and equal period realized by the method further enhances frequency band utilization ratio, ensures the constant performance of the amplitude of the modulating wave shapes, and also strengthens the capability of resisting channel distortion and noise disturbance.

The invention discloses a compound signal transmission and communication method based on an equal-amplitude equal-period modulated carrier wave technology, which comprises two parts, including the compound transmission of an analog signal and digital information and compound information receiving demodulation, wherein the compound transmission of the analog signal and the digital information comprises the following steps of coding an information source, coding a channel, forming a carrier wave, modulating a base band and modulating upper frequency conversion; in the carrier wave formation, a wave shape of a carrier wave is directly changed by a binary system information code element; compared with a standard sinusoidal wave, a modulated wave shape f1(t) generated when an information bit is one and a modulated wave shape generated when the information bit is zero have an adjustable tiny difference; and the compound information receiving demodulation comprises the following steps of demodulating lower frequency conversion, the analog signal and the digital information, decoding the channel and decoding the information source. The method realizes the compound transmission of the analog signal and the digital information and improves the utilization ratio of communication and transmission resources.
