The touch screen includes a touch sensor and the touch sensor includes multiple touch nodes, the control method including the following steps: S1. detecting that detected capacitance values of touch nodes in a preset particular region on the touch sensor uniformly change within a preset time length; S2. obtaining a quantity of touch nodes whose change in the detected capacitance value is greater than a preset detected capacitance threshold value; and S3. when the quantity of touch nodes whose change in the detected capacitance value is greater than the preset detected capacitance threshold value is greater than a preset quantity, controlling the touch screen to perform state switching. The control method is simple and convenient and does not require any complex detection circuit. A touch screen and a portable touch terminal having the touch screen are also provided.
