The polycarboxylate water reducer can be used in a constructional engineering in which the initial slump of concrete is less than 180mm, the polycarboxylate water reducer has good workability and flowing retentivity, thus expanding the applications of the polycarboxylate water reducer in the small-slump concrete engineering, such as applications in the fields of large-volume concrete, prefabricated member concrete, roller-compacted concrete and the like.
