Abstract

The invention provides an ion chromatography detection method for simultaneous determination of sulfate radical and sulfite radical in desulfurized seawater. The invention optimizes the chromatographic conditions, through the solution combination of formaldehyde, sodium hydroxide, and ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid disodium salt of specific concentration, sample pretreatment can be achieved, and specific ion chromatography detection parameters are regulated to achieve baseline separation of sulfite radical and sulfate radical, i.e. a new sample pretreatment method is put forward, on the basis of realizing simultaneous accurate quantification of sulfate ions and sulfite ions, the influence of calcium and magnesium ions on the test can be removed. The result shows that the sulfate radical detection limit is 0.04mg/L, and the sulfite radical detection limit is 0.03mg/L.
