The invention discloses a solvent-based high-gloss base coat for skin. The solvent-based high-gloss base coat is a three-component solvent-based polyurethane enamel. A base material of the solvent-based high-gloss base coat comprises the following components: polyester resin, a pigment, a functional filler, a wetting dispersant, a base material wetting agent, an antifoaming agent, a leveling agent, a light stabilizer, an anti-settling agent and the like. A curing agent of the base coat is a polyester modified isocyanate solvent or an ester solvent. A diluent of the base coat is an ester solvent, a ketone solvent or other solvents. The developed solvent-based high-gloss base coat for skin has the advantages of high solid content, good fullness, excellent mechanical properties, medium resistance, low VOC, low gloss loss, excellent weather resistance, corrosion resistance and construction performance, etc. An external skin coating experiment proves that the solvent-based high-gloss base coat can be completely promoted and applied to the outer parts of airplanes, automobiles, locomotives and the like on a large scale and has considerable use value and economic value.
