The nucleotide sequence of the miRNA for regulating and controlling the expression of the rustproofing bacterium infected gene of the hybrid poplar is as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1. The precursor sequence of the miRNA is as shown in SEQ ID NO: 2. The miRNA for regulating and controlling the expression of the rustproofing bacterium infected gene of the hybrid poplar is capable of improving the resistance of the hybrid poplar to the rust disease and is applied to disease resistance breeding. The study on the miRNA by use of genetic engineering methods is capable of laying a foundation for intensively researching and controlling the rust disease infection resistance mechanism of the poplar and improving the resistance of the hybrid poplar to the rust disease.
