An improved system and method for extending interface communications for a SCSI. The system and method provides SCSI extenders that are able to extend SCSI communications over relatively long distances between at least two SCSI interfaces while also being fast and efficient in operation and inexpensive in implementation. The present system and method reduces latency, buffering, error recovery code, and other such additional hardware and software. SCSI signals are received from one SCSI interface, and the SCSI signals from the one SCSI interface are parallel loaded into a parallel register. The SCSI signals from the one SCSI interface are serialized into serial data, and the serial data from the parallel register is transmitted over an optical communication system. The transmitted serial data is converted back to the SCSI signals that were originally from the one SCSI interface. The SCSI signals that were originally from the one SCSI interface are received by and shifted into a data management and driver system, and the data management and driver system is used to manage and drive the SCSI signals from the one SCSI interface to another SCSI interface. The same system and methodology is applied to extend communications in both directions between the at least two SCSI interfaces. The data management and driver system arbitrates, selects, and drives SCSI signals from one SCSI interface to another SCSI interface. The data management and driver system includes a receive serial shift register and a driver logic device.

The invention relates to a method for adsorbing and desorbing six phenoxy carboxylic acid herbicides in water with a nitrate-type layered double hydroxides (LDHS) adsorbent. Aiming at the problem that an efficient adsorbent for phenoxy carboxylic acid herbicides in water and an application method of the efficient adsorbent are unavailable at present, the method adopting nitrate-type LDHS as an adsorbent and used for adsorbing and desorbing the six phenoxy carboxylic acid herbicides in water through the steps of regulation of the pH value of a water sample, adsorption through a dispersive solid-phase extraction method, washing with deionized water, desorption with a disodium hydrogen phosphate desorbent, and the like is created. The selected nitrate-type LDHS adsorbent is good in dispersity in an aqueous solution and has an efficient adsorption capability for the six phenoxy carboxylic acid herbicides; adsorption and desorption are carried out through a dispersive solid-phase extraction method, the operation is simple, convenient, easy, fast and efficient; meanwhile, no organic solvent is needed for adsorption and desorption, so that the method accords with the idea of environmental friendliness.

Fractional order PID control method for electrostatic dust collection power source

The invention discloses a fractional order PID control method for an electrostatic dust collection power source. The phase angle and gain of an open-loop system are obtained in combination with a transfer function of the high-frequency electrostatic dust collection power source and a transfer function of the fractional order PID control method; a margin relation is used for obtaining a KP, a KI and a KD of a fractional order PID control system; furthermore, multiple sets of KPs, KI s and KDs are obtained according to different differential integral orders; according to a time domain expression, the output quantity of a fractional order PID controller is obtained through calculation; according to an ITAE measurement criterion, system output error values of different sets of data are obtained; one set of data is adopted as setting parameters when an ITAE value is minimum; in combination with the linear relation between the output quantity of the PID controller and IGBT driving frequency, driving frequency for reasonably controlling an IGBT is obtained. Fractional order PPID parameters can be accurately set, so that ideal control over the high-frequency electrostatic dust collection system is achieved; a floating-point type DSP is adopted for efficiently processing fractional order calculus calculation; the fractional order PID control method has the advantages of being short in rise time, small in steady-state error, high in robustness, wide in application range and the like.

Dual alternating transverse feeding mechanism for lumber edgers

A lumber feeding mechanism for feeding lumber pieces laterally on a supply conveyor after scanning them with a light scanner to determine a reference axis for the optimum yield of boards. The lumber pieces are fed by dogs from a start position to a feed position in alignment with a feed conveyor which feeds such pieces longitudinally through a lumber edger with adjustable cutting saws. The feeding mechanism includes alternating sets of first and second dogs which are pivoted between a raised position for engagement with the rear edges of the lumber pieces to push such pieces from the start position to the feed position and a retracted position to enable the dogs to be returned to the start position passing on opposite sides or on the same side of the piece. Electrical actuation motors or fluid cylinder actuation motors with rotating output gears are used to pivot the dogs in response to a control signal produced by an electrical control system. The dogs are moved between the start position and the feed position along guides by drive cylinders and the lumber pieces are engaged by air stop cylinders as the pieces are moved toward the feed position to accurately position such pieces at the feed position where they are engaged by hold-down rolls and fed by the feed conveyor through the lumber edger.
