Embodiment 1

[0020] This implementation method extracts lutein from dried marigold flower granules according to the following steps. Grind dried marigold flower particles, weigh 100g of marigold powder and place it in an extraction device, continuously feed 300-500L of n-hexane, heat and keep warm at 40°C-50°C, extract for 2-4 hours, and collect the extract. Then the extract is placed in a distillation pot and distilled at 30°C to 40°C to recover 70% to 85% of the solvent, add 20ml of an aqueous solution of tetrabutylammonium bisulfate and 40% potassium hydroxide, and stir at 60°C for 3 ~5 hours until the reaction is complete, which can be monitored by thin layer chromatography. Adjust the pH value of the solution to 7 with 1M hydrochloric acid, add 30-50 times of distilled water and stir for 1-2 hours. The lutein was extracted with dichloromethane, and washed repeatedly with distilled water until the dichloromethane layer was clear. The extract was evaporated to dryness under reduced pr...

Embodiment 2

[0022] This implementation method extracts lutein from dried marigold flower granules according to the following steps. Grind dried marigold flower particles, weigh 100g of marigold powder and place it in an extraction device, continuously feed 500-800L of petroleum ether, heat and keep warm at 50°C-60°C, extract for 4-6 hours, and collect the extract. Then the extract is placed in a distillation pot and distilled at 40°C to 50°C to recover 60% to 70% of the solvent, add 20ml of an aqueous solution of tetrabutylammonium bromide and 35% sodium hydroxide, and stir at 50°C for 4 ~6 hours until the reaction is complete, which can be monitored by thin layer chromatography. Adjust the pH value of the solution to 7 with 1M hydrochloric acid, add 30-50 times of distilled water and stir for 1-2 hours. The lutein was extracted with ethyl acetate, and washed repeatedly with distilled water until the ethyl acetate layer was clear. The extract was evaporated to dryness under reduced pres...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for extracting lutein from marigold particles. The method comprises the following preparation steps: (1) grinding marigold dried flower particles sifting out, placing the powder in an extraction device, continuously passing the powder through organic solvent, and collecting and filtering the extracting solution; (2) placing the extracting solution in a distillationstill for distillation and carrying out basic hydrolysis on the concentrated extracting solution with the participation of a phase transfer catalyst; (3) using acid to adjust solution pH value after saponification, and adding distilled water for stirring; (4) extracting the lutein by organic solvent, carrying out reduced pressure distilling and recovery on extract liquor, thus obtaining lutein crude product; and (5) carrying out eluviation and obtaining food or medical grade lutein by vacuum drying. The invention features simple method, low cost, easy post-processing, and achieves content of final product which reaches more than 97%, therefore, the lutein extracted by the method of the invention can be applied as food additive and raw materials of medicines and health products and is applicable to industrial mass product.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of medicine and relates to a method for extracting lutein from marigold granules Background technique [0002] Lutein is the main antioxidant component of carotenoids in the retina of the eye tissue, which can prevent and delay vision degeneration, blindness or cataracts and other eye diseases induced by macular degeneration in the elderly. At the same time, it is an antioxidant with excellent performance, which can resist the cell and organ damage caused by oxygen free radicals in the human body, and prevent cardiovascular sclerosis, coronary heart disease and tumor diseases caused by body aging. It has been found in clinical medical research that eating more foods rich in lutein can greatly reduce the incidence of cancer. It can also eliminate or relieve "dry eye syndrome" caused by long-term use of eyes (such as operating a computer, etc.). At the same time, when a sufficient amount of lutein is taken i...
