A preparation method comprises the following steps: adding cobalt nitrate hexahydrate and tetrafluoroterephthalic acid into absolute ethyl alcohol, and performing hydrothermal reaction, so as to obtain a target product. The coordination polymer can be manufactured into an electrode plate and assembled in CR2032 lithium ion button battery to be applied to anode materials. The F-containing coordination polymer can directly serve as lithium ion battery cathode material.
