Abstract

The repair dressing with excellent antibacterial performance containing the ginseng extract is prepared from the following main components: functional chitosan, oxidized sodium alginate, chitosan microspheres, and plant extracts. Functional chitosan and oxidized sodium alginate are used as main components to prepare hydrogel that is of a porous reticular shape as a whole, conducive to slow release effect of chitosan microspheres and plant extracts. The repair dressing comprises plant extracts including a ginseng extract and a centella asiatica extract that facilitate skin absorption on the one hand and achieves anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects on the other hand, thereby improving antibacterial performance of the repair dressing and avoiding wound inflammation. The repair dressing is reasonable in process design, and the prepared repair dressing not only has excellent antibacterial performance, but also has excellent water retention and moisture retention performance, and can effectively promote wound repair.
