A disposable digit cover structured to be applied to envelop a portion of a human finger or toe, i.e., digit, for aiding in prevention of the spread of communicable diseases and cross-patient contamination from pulse oximeter probes. The cover is a flexible, tubular structure of material impervious to the passage of infectious agents, and having one open end and an oppositely disposed closed end, and is sufficiently thin and transparent to light to serve as infectious agent barrier between a human digit and a pulse oximeter probe. The covers are stored in a flattened state in a clean condition with a dispensing package containing a plurality of the covers stacked upon each other and secure to the package. The package includes a closeable opening allowing access to the digit covers. The dispensing package is small enough to be carried in a garment pocket.

A combined storage apparatus including a vacuum-sealed compression storage bag and a case; the bag having an open end provided with a sealing line comprised of two strips; an air suction outlet being provided on one side of the bag; a baseboard is being attached to the outer peripheral of the base of the compression bag; the case being integrated with a lid and both being foldable, a handle being provided to all four sides of the case; the object for storage being first placed in the vacuum sealed compression storage bag; and then the compression storage bag being placed into the case to allow multiple cases to stack up in nice and tidy fashion.

It is the object of the present invention to provide a storage slipcover for at least one article, especially textile articles, comprising a first envelope extending vertically and fitted at its upper end with an opening for insertion of said at least one article, and a plate fitted with folding means for the formation of a parallelepiped base in which is placed at least the lower part of the first envelope, said storage slipcover further comprising a second envelope assembled horizontally below the lower end of the first envelope, this second envelope comprising dimensions slightly greater than the plate, and at least one opening for introducing this plate in said second envelope.

An enhanced mask system including a mask portion, for covering the nose, mouth and lower face of a wearer. The mask portion has an inner surface for being closer to the wearer and an outer surface for being further from the wearer. A head covering or balaclava is secured to the mask portion and a pocket secured to the inner surface of the mask portion removably contains the head covering or balaclava when in its secured position. The mask can be worn by the wearer either with the head covering or balaclava on the wearer's head in a deployed position or without the head covering or balaclava on the wearer's head and stowed in the pocket in the secured position.

A system and method for securing a tie to a folded shirt. The system includes a folded shirt having buttons down the front thereof; a tie; and an elongated strap defining first and second loops wherein the folded shirt is disposed in the first loop and the tie is disposed in the second loop. The method includes the steps of providing a strap having a first side and an opposite second side extending between first and second ends; attaching the tie to the neck area of the folded shirt; positioning the tie along the folded shirt; wrapping the strap around the folded shirt; attaching the first end of the strap to the second side at a first location proximal to the second end and attaching the second end of the strap to the first side at a second location proximal to the first end to thereby define a main loop containing the folded shirt and a second loop suitable for containing a portion of the tie; and inserting the tie into the second loop.

An enhanced mask system including a mask portion, for covering the nose, mouth and lower face of a wearer. The mask portion has an inner surface for being closer to the wearer and an outer surface for being further from the wearer. A head covering or balaclava is secured to the mask portion and a pocket secured to the inner surface of the mask portion removably contains the head covering or balaclava when in its secured position. The mask can be worn by the wearer either with the head covering or balaclava on the wearer's head in a deployed position or without the head covering or balaclava on the wearer's head and stowed in the pocket in the secured position.

A luggage item is convertible from a duffle bag form to a garment bag form by disengaging duffle end panels from the lateral sides of the garment bag and folding those end panels against the inside of the garment bag. Various arrangements of handles and carry straps are disclosed which facilitate transport of the luggage item as a duffle bag or a garment bag.

The diaper-containing package comprises a plurality of a diaper which are folded transversely inward at the opposite side portions and is folded longitudinally at the crotch region, and a bag for packaging the diapers therein. The bag forms top and bottom walls and front and back walls and opposite side walls each extending between the top and bottom walls. In the diaper, slip-resistant strips are attached to the front and back end edges and opposite side portions and these slip-resistant strips are in contact with and releasably engaged with each other. For use with a shirt and tie combination, provided is a strap comprising an elongated body, and two scorelines defining a space therebetween, wherein the elongated body is foldable along the scorelines. Also provided are two lock-tabs and two lock-slots. The two lock-tabs are able to engage the two lock-slots when the elongated body is folded, and thus two lock-joints are formed. A channel is defined by the elongated body between the two lock-joints, the channel being sized for the placement of the tie. Also provided is a method for securing a tie to a folded shirt. The tie is attached to the neck area of the shirt. The tie is positioned along the buttons of the shirt. A strapping device is wrapped around the shirt. The tie is inserted into the strapping device. The tie and the shirt are secured free of a surrounding bag.

A disposable glove dispense and shipping container has a first box and a second box both having dispense apertures disposed therein for dispensing a right hand disposable glove and a left hand disposable glove respectively. The first and second boxes are hingably attached along the first box top and inner surface junction and the second box top and inner surface junction. In the open or dispense position the inner sides of the first box and the second box are both parallel and touching with the top surfaces having the dispense apertures lying flat and side by side for dispensing purposes. In the closed or ship position, the top surface of the first box and the top surface of the second box fold onto one another creating a third box suitable for distribution and shipping.

A disposable hospital gown is provided having a main body and a pair of sleeves. Integrally formed with the hospital gown is a disposable wrapper that is particularly positioned or placed such that the gown can be rolled or folded into a bundle, after which the disposable wrapper is reversed and in the process of reversing the disposable wrapper, the bundled gown is stuffed or placed into the reversed disposable wrapper for disposal. The disposable hospital gown is suitable for use as an isolation hospital gown, a surgical gown, or a patient disposable gown.

A combined storage apparatus (10) includes a storage bag (12) and a storage box (14). The base (20) of the storage bag (12) is gusseted and forms an extended flat surface which is attached to a stiff board (32). The board (32) has straps (40A, 40B) with buckles (42) which are adjustable to pull taut against the storage bag (12). After the storage bag (12) has been sealed by fastener tracks (28A, 28B) and evacuated of air through a one-way valve (30), the straps (40A, 40B) are pulled taut against the storage bag (12) and the buckles (42) secured. The adjustable straps (40A, 40B), the buckles (42), and the board (32) serve as a mechanical restraint to assist in retaining the storage bag (12) in a collapsed state. The storage bag (12) and the board (32) are sized to fit within the storage box (14). The board (32) also is folded in a manner to create two sidewalls (32A, 32B) which provides rigidity to permit multiple storage apparatuses (10) to be stacked.

A clothes storage bag permitting the stacking of clothes in standing position is comprised of two side plastic films and a base plastic film; both side films defining an erected storage case on the upper part; a zipper sealing being provided to an opening at the top of the erected storage case; the lower part of each erected film laterally extending in opposite directions to form a lateral storage case connecting through the erected storage case; and a passage to expel air being provided on either side of the lateral storage case to reduce bag size.

A tie is secured to a folded shirt of the type having a row of buttons by providing an elongated body having first and second ends, a first portion, a second portion, and a buttonhole through the first portion. The elongated body is wrapped around the folded shirt. The buttonhole is secured to one of the buttons of the row of buttons. The tie is disposed on the folded shirt, with one part of the tie being secured proximate to the collar, and another part depending downwardly along the row of buttons. The tie is placed over the first portion of the elongated body. The first and second ends can be attached at respective positions along the elongated body such that the second portion overlies the tie, the tie is seated between the first and second portions, and the tie is secured between the first and second positions.

A protective garment configured to facilitate easy donning of the garment is described. The garment includes one or more foreshortening structures within the garment that allows for the arms and legs to be shorted into a donning configuration. This allows the garment to be handled and donned by the wearer, without the wearer touching an exterior surface of the garment or allowing any portion of the garment to touch another surface. A method of preparing a protective garment for donning and a method of donning such a garment is also disclosed.

A method for producing a beverage or liquid comestible from a single capsule by subdividing the interior of the capsule into a plurality of compartments, at least two compartments containing beverage-forming ingredients, introducing a liquid into one of the compartments of the capsule and starting to produce and drain a first beverage component on the basis of the ingredient contained in the first compartment, and opening a fluid communication between the first and the second compartment such that after the start of the production of the first beverage compartment, a production of a beverage component on the basis of the ingredient contained in the second compartment commences. The capsule is preferably used to make cappuccino-style beverages.

This invention provides a simple means for a user to determine the weight of a container with its contents before lifting or transporting it, therefore increasing safety for the user, as back strain and other physical discomforts can result from the repetitive lifting and prolonged carrying of containers that are too heavy. Furthermore, the claimed invention is a container with a built-in scale that allows a traveler on a commercial airline, train, bus or watercraft, to determine the weight of container with its contents so that the traveler can compare the weight of the of the container to baggage weight restrictions prior to departure, therefore, saving the traveler time and money.

A suitcase includes a housing having a plurality of sides defining a cavity therebetween wherein one side is removably disposed along a bottom surface of the housing. The suitcase includes a first elongated and flexible handle secured to select ones of the sides defining a grip portion and a second flexible handle disposed subjacent to the first handle and attached to a top of one of the sides. The suitcase further includes a mechanism for effectively determining a weight of items stored within the suitcase and a mechanism for electronically displaying the weight of the items.
