A disposable digit cover structured to be applied to envelop a portion of a human finger or toe, i.e., digit, for aiding in prevention of the spread of communicable diseases and cross-patient contamination from pulse oximeter probes. The cover is a flexible, tubular structure of material impervious to the passage of infectious agents, and having one open end and an oppositely disposed closed end, and is sufficiently thin and transparent to light to serve as infectious agent barrier between a human digit and a pulse oximeter probe. The covers are stored in a flattened state in a clean condition with a dispensing package containing a plurality of the covers stacked upon each other and secure to the package. The package includes a closeable opening allowing access to the digit covers. The dispensing package is small enough to be carried in a garment pocket.

Retail display strap for securing a tie to a shirt

A system and method for securing a tie to a folded shirt. The system includes a folded shirt having buttons down the front thereof; a tie; and an elongated strap defining first and second loops wherein the folded shirt is disposed in the first loop and the tie is disposed in the second loop. The method includes the steps of providing a strap having a first side and an opposite second side extending between first and second ends; attaching the tie to the neck area of the folded shirt; positioning the tie along the folded shirt; wrapping the strap around the folded shirt; attaching the first end of the strap to the second side at a first location proximal to the second end and attaching the second end of the strap to the first side at a second location proximal to the first end to thereby define a main loop containing the folded shirt and a second loop suitable for containing a portion of the tie; and inserting the tie into the second loop.

Combined storage apparatus

A combined storage apparatus (10) includes a storage bag (12) and a storage box (14). The base (20) of the storage bag (12) is gusseted and forms an extended flat surface which is attached to a stiff board (32). The board (32) has straps (40A, 40B) with buckles (42) which are adjustable to pull taut against the storage bag (12). After the storage bag (12) has been sealed by fastener tracks (28A, 28B) and evacuated of air through a one-way valve (30), the straps (40A, 40B) are pulled taut against the storage bag (12) and the buckles (42) secured. The adjustable straps (40A, 40B), the buckles (42), and the board (32) serve as a mechanical restraint to assist in retaining the storage bag (12) in a collapsed state. The storage bag (12) and the board (32) are sized to fit within the storage box (14). The board (32) also is folded in a manner to create two sidewalls (32A, 32B) which provides rigidity to permit multiple storage apparatuses (10) to be stacked.

The tie is disposed on the folded shirt, with one part of the tie being secured proximate to the collar, and another part depending downwardly along the row of buttons. The tie is placed over the first portion of the elongated body. The first and second ends can be attached at respective positions along the elongated body such that the second portion overlies the tie, the tie is seated between the first and second portions, and the tie is secured between the first and second positions.

The garment includes one or more foreshortening structures within the garment that allows for the arms and legs to be shorted into a donning configuration.
