Accordingto the method, part of fuel for combustion enters a hearth directly in a jet flow mode through a fuel jet nozzle of a lateral wall, is mixed with hot smoke generated by combustors of a front wall anda rear wall and is combusted, and the rest of the fuel enters through the combustors of the front wall and the rear wall and is combusted. The fuel is supplied from the lateral wall, so that mixing of part of the fuel and secondary air is postponed, fractional combustion of the fuel is realized, and the NOx generation amount is further reduced. Meanwhile, through combustion of the fuel near the lateral wall, uniformity of fuel horizontal distribution in a boiler combustion area can be realized, the problem of ash accumulation caused by non-uniform distribution of fly ash of a top horizontal flute inlet due to original combustion organization is relieved, and stable operation of a unit is facilitated.
