A merchandise pusher tray is provided. The merchandise pusher tray includes a base structure. The base structure is configurable for bar or shelf mounting. The base structure includes a pair of load bearing members for supporting a floor of the base structure. The merchandise pusher tray also includes at least one divider mounted to and adjustable in a first direction relative to the base structure. The merchandise pusher tray also includes a pusher mounted to and movable in a second direction relative to the base structure. A locking arm is provided for locking the pusher in a locked position and automatically unlocking the pusher from the locked position upon the exertion of an actuation force against the locking arm.

The present invention is directed to a method of forming a container comprising forming a basket portion of metal mesh material and a rail connected to the basket portion. The rail extends substantially outwardly from the outer surface of the basket portion and the rail extends continuously around the outer surface of the basket portion. In one example, the method includes forming the rail so that it does not contain or surround a free edge of the basket portion. In another example, the method includes forming the rail so that it includes an opening for containing or surrounding a free edge of the basket portion. The method may also include forming a lower rail. The present invention is also directed to a container formed by such method.

A storage array in an automated storage and retrieval system includes storage spaces arrayed on racks along picking aisles, multiple level decks, where at least one deck communicates with each aisle, where the decks and aisles are configured to define a rolling surface for an autonomous transport vehicle at each level of the decks, racks along at least one aisle at each level are at multiple rack levels that are accessed from a respective rolling surface that is common to the multiple rack levels, and a vertical pitch between rack levels varies for a portion of a respective aisle, the vertical pitch between at least two rack levels of the portion of the respective aisle is related to another vertical pitch between at least two other rack levels of another aisle portion of the respective aisle so the vehicle effects multiple picks in ordered sequence in a common aisle pass.

The present invention is directed to a container comprising a first piece of mesh material and at least one separate second piece of mesh material. The first piece of mesh is bent to form a bottom wall and a first pair of sidewalls. The second piece of material forms a second pair of sidewalls. When the pieces are joined together, a basket portion with an upwardly-extending opening is formed. The basket portion may further include a runner portion that may be a separate rail connected to the basket portion, thus forming a drawer. When the container is used with a drawer system including a frame, the runner portion is slidably received in a pair of frame runners. This allows the drawer to move with respect to the frame between retracted and extended positions. The present invention is also directed to a method for making such containers.

A rack system including a support having multiple longitudinally spaced slots for connecting at least one generally Z-shaped shelf, or any suitable shape. The shelf has a front leg and a back leg interconnected by a support position. The front leg may, for example, provide an upstanding lip. The support portion may be referred to as a median support portion between the front leg and the back leg of the generally Z-shaped shelf. The back leg includes a first transverse element disposed adjacent to the support position, and a second transverse element disposed at a distal end of the back leg, such that the first and second transverse elements engaged adjacent slots in order to connect the shelves to the support. The shelf may be connected to the support having the plurality of longitudinally spaced slots by inserting the generally Z-shaped shelf in order to connect the shelf to the support.

A shelving system includes one or more shelving units. Each shelving unit has vertical frames each frame having at least two vertical posts. The vertical posts are separated by shelf support pieces. A shelf can be mounted horizontally between the vertical frames and be supported by the horizontal shelf support pieces. The shelf is detachably mounted to the vertical post by a sliding mounting connector having a U-shaped channel that can slide along the vertical post. A wedge-shaped piece can be wedged between the sliding mounting connector and the vertical post to secure the sliding mounting connector to the vertical post.

A bracket that joins adjacent cable trays includes a main body having a base with a top edge, a bottom edge and sides. The bracket further includes upper members that extend from the top edge, a bottom member that extends from the bottom edge and side members extending from the sides. When attached to adjacent cable trays, the longitudinal wires of the cable tray are positioned between the upper members and the side members and the transverse wires of the cable tray are retained in a space defined by the upper members. A bracket that joins perpendicular cable trays includes a main body and a securing clip. The main body has a bottom and two sides extending upwardly therefrom. Each side of the main body includes a deflectable side latch that engages a bottom longitudinal wire of the cable tray. The securing clip engages the main body to secure the bracket to the cable tray.

A self-assembly storage system or a kit of parts for construction thereof comprises: a base portion, a stem portion, storage units extending forwardly from the stem portion, the base portion comprising two fire elements connected via a linking element, the extended frame elements comprising curved extensions extending from the base portion for fixing the stem portion in linear continuity therewith. Hence the stem portion is substantially offset from the base portion to locate the storage units over a center of gravity defined by the base. The storage system is substantially stable, and the base portion and the stem portion comprise substantially two-dimensional components, allowing for flat packaging of the kit for easy storage and transport.

A structural coupler for joining two storage racks of a mobile rack system. The coupler includes three separate components that are movable relative to each other to allow for relative movement between adjacent storage racks while providing the structural stability to prevent tipping of the storage racks. The coupler includes a coupling bracket that includes a pair of tabs that extend through open slots formed in a movement bracket and through receiving slots formed in a receiving bracket. A removable connector prevents separation of the coupler in the assembled condition while the size of the coupling tabs relative to the open slots allows the three components to move relative to each other. A series of individual couplers can be used along the height of the uprights that form part of each of the individual storage racks.

An oven rack assembly (1000) includes an oven rack (1008) and a slide system (1018). The slide system (1018) includes slide devices (1020) positioned at opposing sides of the oven rack (1008). A subframe (1040) is positioned below the slide devices (1020). A shelving system having a front support and a back support connected to two end frames contains a plurality of U-shaped bottom supports connected to both the front support and back support. A plurality of separators are connected lengthwise to the two end frames defining channels for receiving rectangular parallelepiped articles, such as DVD cases, to be stored on the shelving system. The channels are sufficiently wide and deep enough to permit the stored articles to be tipped frontwards and rearwards for inspection, but no so wide as to allow the articles to be easily dislodged while tipping. Slide stops are connected lengthwise to the front support and back support across the top of the channels to prevent sideways shifting of the stored articles. Components of the shelving system are constructed of metal wire to reduce dust accumulation and maintenance.

A cross-bar is provided for a shelving assembly having vertical corner posts joined by horizontal deck beams with the cross-bar extending between deck beams to support the shelving material supported by the beams. The cross-bar has an offset connecting bracket at each end. The offset allows the bracket to fit underneath a deck beam flange so the bracket can engage protruding rivets on the inside of open-section deck beams.

Embodiments of the rack further include retaining tabs on the leg member and corresponding notches on the leg footer to lock leg members in the upright position. Pairs of leg assemblies may be connected by primary connecting frame elements forming a portion of the perimeter, with the pairs being connected by secondary connecting frame elements forming another portion of the perimeter.

A utility cart has four corner posts arranged in rectangular pattern and at least one lower shelf including a recess in the push side edge and a top shelf that, instead of the recess, includes a handle. The other three sides of each of the shelves are substantially the same size and extend beyond the corner posts. The bottom of each of the shelves may include a wagon wheel structure in each corner which secures and supports the corner posts of the cart.

A shelving system having improved structural characteristics. The shelving system comprises at least three weight-supporting crossbeams and at least three continuously tubular, V-shaped crossbeam-supporting posts. The at least three weight-supporting crossbeams have a substantially vertical outer shoulder and substantially horizontal inner reinforcement flange positioned along the substantially vertical outer shoulder, upon which a shelf may be placed such that the shelf is supported by at least two of the at least three weight-supporting crossbeams.

A hanger for use on metal rack is integrally injection molded and includes a hook portion provided at an upper end thereof, at least one engaging recess located below and behind the hook portion, and a supporting seat provided at a lower free end of the hanger. The hanger is firmly connected to a metal rack by directly hooking the hook portion to an upper horizontal metal bar at a vertical front of the metal rack with the engaging recess engaged with a lower horizontal metal bar at the vertical front of the metal rack. A crossbar may be supported at two ends in the supporting seats of two hangers connected to the metal rack for holding suit hangers thereto.

A merchandising display comprises an array of vertical wires and an array of horizontal wires, and sheet metal panels which snap onto wires of one of the arrays to provide a slotted display backing.
