Installation bracket with level

The installation bracket with level is used during the installation of heavy electrical boxes. The bracket has a wall plate and a support plate, with the plates connected to each other by at least one hinge. The wall plate includes mounting holes for mounting the bracket to a wall with support screws. The bracket includes a spirit level that allows the user to correctly align the bracket before mounting the bracket to the wall. The support plate has magnets on its bottom surface to hold the electrical box in a correctly aligned manner against a wall while the electrical box is being installed. This allows the user to install the electrical box without having to support the box manually.

Printing device for installing GEM electrical outlet box

The present invention is a device for printing an outline of an opening to be cut in a wall to facilitate the installation of a GEM electrical box in the wall. The outline is substantially rectangular having a first and second set of sides. The first set of sides is shorter than the second set of sides and includes a semi-oval portion located at the middle of each side. The second set of sides have a semi-oval portion located at the end of each side. The device includes a rubberstamp configured to print the outline on the wall, and also includes a handle and a pair of levels for locating (leveling) the device prior to imprinting the outline on the wall. The rubberstamp can includes an inking means for replenishing ink to the rubberstamp. The device can also include a spring assembly so that the rubberstamp can initially be located at a position on the wall without imprinting the outline on the wall, but will print the outline on the wall upon the application of pressure to the rubberstamp.

A selected template is positioned on a surface, temporarily secured to the surface, and an outline along the edges of the template then being formed on the surface. A system and leveling device for installing an electrical box or ring on a wall stud, and a process for installation using the same. The leveling device has a generally planar elongated substrate having a horizontal bubble level on a front face and positioning pins on a rear face. The positioning pins are configured for insertion into gang screw holes on the electrical box or ring. The system includes cross-stud braces for spanning the distance between adjacent wall studs. The electrical box or ring has pass-through slots to receive the cross-stud braces so that the electrical box or ring can be leveled using the leveling device prior to attaching the cross-stud braces to the wall studs.
