Embodiment 1

Abstract

The invention provides a molded phosphorus-containing hydrated alumina and a preparation method thereof. The molded phosphorus-containing hydrated alumina is prepared by using raw materials containing at least one hydrated alumina, at least one phosphorus-containing compound and at least one cellulose ether, and has a water absorption rate of 0.4-1.5, a delta value of below 10% and a Q1 value of above 12N / mm. The invention also provides a molded phosphorus-containing alumina preparation method. The molded phosphorus-containing alumina preparation method is characterized in that the molded phosphorus-containing hydrated alumina is roasted to obtain molded phosphorus-containing alumina. The invention further provides an application of the above molded materials as a drying agent or a carrier of a supported catalyst. The molded phosphorus-containing hydrated alumina has a good strength retention rate and a good absorption performance. No peptizing agents are used in the invention.
