Problems solved by technology

These methods have disadvantages such as high energy consumption, low tensile strength of modifier-modified asphalt produced, and easy segregation of modifier and asphalt during thermal storage.
Chinese patent ZL93115289.5 involves cutting the general-purpose synthetic SBR styrene-butadiene rubber into small granules and using a small amount of water as the release agent or the condensed water-containing fluffy body taken from the production line, adding it to the solvent (rubber filling oil), and then heating up and dehydrating. Made SBR styrene-butadiene rubber masterbatch filled with 65%~90% oil; the modified agent prepared by this patent has low tensile strength after asphalt modification, and the problems of easy segregation between modifier and asphalt during thermal storage are still unsolved
A method is disclosed in Chinese patent ZL97110667.3, using general-purpose styrene-butadiene rubber emulsion as raw material, styrene and maleic anhydride are polymerized into a copolymer as coating agent, superfine calcium carbonate is used as release agent, and coagulant is added. into a powdered styrene-butadiene rubber; the coating agent in this patent is too polar and incompatible with asphalt. to the role of modified asphalt
Chinese patent ZL97111343.2 mentions that the styrene-butadiene rubber emulsion is pre-crosslinked and then grafted with styrene, acrylonitrile, acrylate and other monomers to modify the styrene-butadiene rubber, adding a copolymer of styrene and maleic anhydride As a coating agent for coagulation, a modified styrene-butadiene rubber product is obtained; the coating agent in this patent is difficult to dissolve with asphalt, and a large amount of grafted polar monomers make the modified styrene-butadiene rubber difficult to Soluble in asphalt, so when used in modified asphalt, it hardly improves the performance of modified asphalt

Abstract

The invention discloses an SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber) modified asphalt and a preparation method thereof, and belong to the technical field of asphalt modification. Raw materials of the SBR modified asphalt comprise, by mass, 80-84.5% of matrix asphalt, 12-15% of aromatic oil and 3.5-5% of an SBR asphalt modifier, wherein raw materials of the SBR asphalt modifier comprise, by weight, 100 partsof a modified SBR emulsion (by dry rubber), 0.1-1 part of an antioxidant, 5-10 parts of an isolating agent, 3-6 parts of a dicyandiamide-formaldehyde condensate and 2-6 parts of potassium aluminum sulfate. The preparation method comprises the following steps: heating the matrix asphalt until melting, adding the aromatic oil and the SBR asphalt modifier, and shearing and swelling the obtained mixture to obtain the SBR modified asphalt. The SBR modified asphalt has good low temperature performances, ductility and bonding property, and has greatly improved viscosity, high temperature performancesand anti-aging property.

Description

technical field [0001] An SBR styrene-butadiene rubber modified asphalt and a preparation method thereof belong to the technical field of asphalt modification. Background technique [0002] SBR styrene-butadiene rubber modified asphalt has outstanding low-temperature performance, ductility and bonding performance. Compared with base asphalt, the high-temperature performance, viscosity toughness, toughness and anti-aging performance of modified asphalt are also improved. At present, SBR styrene-butadiene rubber-modified asphalt at home and abroad is polymerized at low temperature (5°C) with butadiene and styrene as polymerized monomers, rosin acid soap or fatty acid soap as emulsifier, and combined with styrene at 23.5±1 % of styrene-butadiene rubber raw materials for production. Because the tensile strength of styrene-butadiene rubber is relatively small, the tensile strength, viscous toughness, and toughness indicators of modified asphalt will be low; the proportion of but...
