A tension measurement and connection
system for guy wires of a guyed
wind measurement tower and its
assembly method belong to the infrastructure technology field of the onshore
wind power industry. The tension measurement and connection
system is installed at the connection point between one end of the guy wire and the foundation tie rod of the guy wire reel, realizing the connection between the structural guy wire and the foundation tie rod. Simultaneously, during installation and construction, the tension of the guy wire is measured to ensure it reaches its design value, guaranteeing the safety of the entire
structural system. It connects the main rod to the foundation tie rod via a U-shaped connecting rod and a
circular loop, and a limiting nut secures the connecting crossbar to the U-shaped connecting rod, forming a closed-loop series structure. The guy wire is then fixed to the series structure using a clamp sleeve, a conical clamp, and clamp tightening bolts. A sensor installed on the sensor mounting bracket and the limiting nut ensure the pre-tension of the guy wire reaches its design value. This invention can simultaneously measure the pre-tension of the guy wire and connect it to the foundation tie rod of the guy wire reel, allowing the guy wire to perform its designed function and ensuring the safety of the
wind measurement tower.
